The Breville IKON 2 Slice toaster is patented with a lift and look feature that allows the bread carriage to be lifted while toasting without canceling or resetting the toast cycle. You can view and, if necessary, cancel the browning cycle at any time. There are 9 browning settings to choose from and each cycle is controlled by an internal smart chip. The blue LCD window will countdown as your food is completing its toasting. The 'defrost' and 'reheat' functions regulate the length of the toasting cycle accordingly. On the 'bagel' setting it toasts faster and on the inside element fro perfect results. The extra long slots are 1.5 inches wide by 6 inches deep to accommodate 2 slices of larger breads or a bagel in a single toasting cycle. The self-centering carriage positions them perfectly between the elements. Hand brushed stainless steel body, soft touch controls all wipe clean with a damp, soft cloth.
